The convenient location made it easy to explore local attractions like the stunning Santa Cruz Wharf, which is just under 3 km away, and Harvey West Park, only a short 1 km stroll, allowing for lovely weekend walks through the city, while Taylor at the front desk provided such cheerful service that it really made our stay special.

Homeless crowds near parking lot were unsettling.

the indoor pool was a hit, and we loved the cozy little TV room too. It was such a nice surprise to find a delicious breakfast spread with waffles and fresh fruit waiting for us in the morning. The only minor issue was that the bathroom sliding door felt a bit awkward, but overall, we had a fantastic time and I'd recommend it for families! 😊

The hotel had friendly staff and a clean, comfortable room, making it a decent choice. However, the design leads to noise issues, especially from the breakfast area, and there were occasional encounters with homeless individuals nearby, which made me feel a bit uneasy.

The spacious room was perfect for our family, and the kids loved the nearby Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The breakfast was a hit, especially the delicious waffles. Plus, the staff was very attentive, making every effort to accommodate our young baby.
My kids wished there was a larger pool area for some fun swimming time. A splash pad would have been ideal for little ones.

Families will find this place decent enough
The room was clean and spacious you know, and the front desk staff was friendly, they even offered us complimentary water bottles when we checked in, a nice touch really. Breakfast had lots of options, including fresh smoothies which my kids loved.
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, I expected a bit more for the cost.

missingWrote a review on Jul 05customer service; clean roombathroom ventilation; privacy concerns; breakfast options
The staff provided exceptional customer service, even assisting us extensively with check-in issues caused by an external reservation site. The room was spacious and clean, offering a cozy bed that contributed to a restful stay. However, the lack of bathroom ventilation was uncomfortable, and the gaps in the restroom door created privacy concerns. Another small downside was the absence of a cranberry juice option at breakfast, which would have been a nice addition.

More grab bars in bathrooms would be helpful.

Great location with friendly service
The hotel is conveniently located near the boardwalk, making it easy for our family to explore the area. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially during check-in, and the complimentary breakfast offered a great variety including warm waffles and fresh fruit. However, there were some concerns about noise levels from the nearby road that could use improvement.

The location near the beach and downtown is fantastic. It makes walking to local shops and attractions easy. The room size impressed me, offering plenty of space to relax. I enjoyed the cozy bathroom. however, the sliding door design felt a bit awkward. The bed was large and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. I appreciated the free breakfast with many options. On the downside, I encountered ants in my room during my stay, which was troubling. Noise travels easily between rooms and from the hallway, making it harder to relax. The parking situation could improve. finding a spot felt challenging at times, especially during busy hours.

Santa Cruz is serving up serious burger vibes, and I hit the jackpot at Ike's Place! The flavors were unreal, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Oh, and don’t get me started on the waffle machine at breakfast—pure breakfast magic!
But my room was crammed next to the Housekeeping closet, so I had a symphony of buzzing and washing machines all night.
